Runaround: Rabbit and Guinea Pig Runs

Hay Hutch

A great fox hide-away or bolt hole and a warm draught free winter retreat. This is a specially made tough green recycled plastic tub, runaround ready with the apertures and screws holes for fitting the two runaround doors and a 3" window or vent. Suits normal sized rabbits as we are linking with the 6 inch pipe but now available with larger doors and 8" pipe for the bigger bunny such as the continental giant.

It is easy to access with a twist-on top for you to fill with hay (with straw for warmth) or soil. In summer please keep it it in permanent deep shade and always have the two exits clear for the bunny or guinea pig to choose whether to be in or out. This is a great addition for cold winter months and it's easy to hose out and refill.

Its best with two links and a window (like the Top Box) as bunnies will not like it as a one way route. The doors are opposite each other. It can link from one area to another or back to the same hutch or run. It can come with the doors needed to go on it or with two connection kits (4 doors and 2 pipes). Alternatively, if you already have runaround doors and pipe you can buy it by itself.

Hay Hutch measures 27 inches diameter at the base and is 22 inches high. It will never wear out and you will find it an asset to bunny and guinea pig keeping.

Our present hay hutches are the dark green colour.

What is runaround?

Runaround is a connective rabbit or guinea pig run system that can attach any hutch to any run. This is possible with a Runaround door and burrow pipe which safely transports your pet out of its hutch and into the run. Add on Runaround tunnels to increase the distance your pet can travel or go for a complete overland warren with den pipe digs and hay hutches, and Top Boxes all adding lots to do!

Your pet shows more of its character and has constant access to the perfect food, grass, as well as more exercise and interest.
